Chamaecyparis lawsoniana (Port Orford Cedar)S\PS\M\-10ø\RG\Ls\B Evergreen trees and shrubs. Green to bluish fan shaped scaly foliage. These are dwarf conifer selections from the parent species which is a 60 foot tree, and are used extensively in miniature gardens or saikei. Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Wisselli'

2410 Chamaecyparis lawsoniana `Green Globe' 12 inches by 12 inches in 10 years. A small nearly globular plant with dark green fans of small tight soft scaly foliage. Excellent for bonsai, miniature gardens. Forms a very thick trunk relative to its height in a very short period of time, making it useful for mame and shohin.

Chamecyparis obtusa (Hinoki Cypress) S\PS\Sh\M\-10ø\RG\Ls\B Japanese species well known for its many dwarf varieties, all of which have very deep green fan-like foliage. Requires rich but well drained soil. Morning sun or filtered shade in hottest, driest areas. Full sun in cooler humid areas. The smallest cultivars are used extensively for miniature gardens, mame, and accent plants. They are also Cadillac rock garden plants.

2545 Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana' (Dwarf Hinoki Cypress) Dwarf form 9 inches x 12 inches in 10 years, ultimately to 20 inches by 30 inches. Horizontally branched with cup or shell shaped fans of intense dark green color. One of the smallest forms with extremely tight foliage. Excellent for bonsai and rock gardens.

2750 Citrus trifoliata 'Flying Dragon'[syn. Poncirus trifoliata] (Flying Dragon Orange, Karatachi) S\M\0ø\Ls\B Upright growth to 15 feet. Probably the most cold hardy member of the citrus family, this deciduous tree has twisted, contorted stems and wicked thorns. Small three lobed compound leaves. Large fragrant blossoms in spring followed by yellow golf ball sized inedible fruits. Thick green contorted striped stems make for excellent bonsai. Cannot be shipped to Florida

2745 Citrus aurantium 'Chinotto' (Myrtle Leaf Orange) 25øF Evergreen small tree. This is a very dwarf cultivar of Seville Orange. The leaves are about one inch long and it will form small sour oranges. This is one of the few true dwarf citrus that is suitable for bonsai culture. It is a vigorous grower and care is easy. It does not set fruit easily and must have relatively warm winter temperatures and high humidity for fruit set. Cannot be shipped to Florida
